Need For Speed Limits is a new racing game from Electronic Arts, the producer who launched the famous Real Racing 3, but also the well-known series for PC, Need For Speed - see the new game.

At first glance, the game is a combination of all the other issues of the Need For Speed series. EA has added some elements from the game Underground such as custom bodykit and tattoos on cars, but the police chases and blockages are specific to NFS Most Wanted and NFS Carbon.

The races take place in NFS style, that means helicopters, chasing, speed, NOS and last moment decisions. You must avoid buffering because in this way you reduce the speed, it’s hard as long as the police makes jams and blockages and on the top of that you have to win the race if you want to progress.

The map or the main menu is clearly stolen for CSR Racing. This menu consist of a map where in the background the main events are displayed. From this menu you access the main modes of the game.

The default control is not based on the G sensor as we used in the Real Racing game. To turn you must reach the extremities of the screen depending on the desired direction, left or right. To activate NOS, you must slide the screen upwards.

The graphic frankly not impressed me, seems very weak compared with Real Racing 3 or NFS Most Wanted for Android.

The wheels of the cars don’t seem round, and the machine geometry is one linear one with sharp corners, nothing to compare with the game mentioned above. I also didn’t liked the vinyls or the tattoos. These have diffuse colors and give the impression of dirt on the car.

The only plus in this chapter is that if the car gets hit, it is actually receiving damages. Spoilers, hoods and ailerons will bend and sway if the car will be seriously hit.

Overall, at the graphic category, the game disappoints, it is not exactly an evolution in the mobile graphics.

As we are used by NFS, audio content is rich. We have tracks during races that actually make the action to be better and give the player a special feeling. Police sirens and wheels creak make the game have a “street racing” atmosphere.

In big lines, the game does not impress, but it is still worth trying because the gameplay is not just graphic as many gamers are accustomed today, in my time a game was beautiful and exciting even if it was only a 2D - install the game here.

However, I suspect that fans of the NFS series, including myself, will play this game regardless of what people say, but before you install it, make sure you have at least 1GB free on your Android device.
